As a call Center Agent

My First Day at work as call Center Agent.

Everyone is off to bed, but not me, i actually just got out of the shower, getting ready for work. While everyone else calls it a day, i am just starting mine. This is how it is when you work in the call center. yes, it was my first time working the night shift and it was hard. I was used to working in the morning before i entered the call center industry and it was really not easy adjusting my body clock to what i call US standards. I didnt have a car so I had to take a fx taxi going to work,. On a good note, working nightshift has its advantages, mainly, travel time is shorter because there is less if not zero traffic. You also avoid the rush hours so goint to work and coming home is really a breeze. While at work, I was amazed on how much coffee and energy drinks were consumed by the agents there I was doing outbound telemarketing so when we get on the phone, our team leader does whatever she can to pump us up and keep the energy flowing while we were trying to get as many sales as we can. Encouraging words and even a few bits of sweets here and there.Anything that would keep you up during the whole shift. I was ready to to go home, its still early so getting a ride home was easy. Excited to see my kids. Ending my day and looking forward to a new day tonight.

Lesson Learned from a 3 day class room training and floor training

Making a good impression at work is critical to your success. It doesn’t mean that you just wanted to get promoted but your just making assessments of your typical behavior or the type of person that you are. This impression often turns into a long-term perceptions and reputations as a Philippines call center agent. Here are some simple ways that I discovered as a call center agent. Use Proper Office Etiquette. Using good manners will help you make a good impression with your superiors and also your co-workers. Office etiquette includes everything from where, and how to use your cell phone while at work. Have a Positive Attitude. Let your enthusiasm for being part of the team and the organization show to everyone you interact with. And always leave non-work problems at home. Be on time. We all have the same amount of time, 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week and it seems that it is valuable to us. Punctuality is essential in gaining respect from the company and coworkers as well. Dress Appropriately. Make a good impression at work by wearing the right clothes. You should dress the right way for the “role you are playing. Show Team Spirit. Working together as one will always lead to a common goal that is success. Avoid Office Politics and Gossip. It can only poison your opinions of your colleagues and influence your judgment to others.
